I have had some issues with my RD07A for a while. I am following the manual to test all the components and on the throttle position sensor I am a bit baffled.
I am setting the multimeter to Ohm K. (everything according to the manual)
The manual says the following:
4 Now connect the probes between the yellow/black and red/yellow terminals on the sensor. Slowly open the throttle from fully closed to fully open and back to fully closed. Check that the resistance increases as the throttle is opened and decreases as it is closed.
My problem is that mine does completely the opposite. It decreases when opening and increases again to where it started when closing. Could something be installed incorrectly or is the sensor faulty?
