I've tried in the bike specific section without luck.
My 2014 KTM 500 makes a ticking sound which I picked up on watching a video of the bike running. I cant really hear it when I'm on the bike as I ride with earplugs.
I've checked the internet and found videos of the same bike making a similar noise, with the problem being the cam chain tensioner.
Is there a way to check the tensioner and know if its bad? Alternatively can I send someone a video of the bike running, maybe you can point me in the right direction.
Side note: the bike was serviced two hours ago at KTM , they didn't comment on the sound. For all I know its normal but have nothing to compare it to. Valves are within spec.
