Once again, many thanks to Marius and the marshals for arranging this trip. It was well organised and the terrain varied just enough to keep everybody interested. This trip was held in Napier and surrounding areas. Was about 160km from start to finish.

Our morning started with modifying the bike trailer to fit underneath the bakkie's rear flap. At least the trailer is lighter now...

Registration in Napier was quick and easy and the first farm already delivered great views.

End of the day at Vloedbos. Some excellent skaaptjops, wors + slaai was prepared for us. We could even taste some of the local wine.

As usual, one only stops after the hectic part, so you don't see the really bad sand  :eek:  Hopefully someone else has some pics of 300m before this photo.

Was lekker om daar op 1h45 odd weer my ou Dakar te sien. Hennie Jordaan en die Kwagga het ligte werk van daai sand gemaak. Wonder egter hoe was daai ou Anakee voor en Sirac agterband op die modder.
 
Lem - ou Hennie het my vertel vd sand en modder, en hy se dis maar vasbyt.

Maar - hy se hy het dit baie geniet  :thumleft:
