Tips for a short WC dayride solo?

Morning Gents

Keen to do a little solo trip from Cape Town (Newlands) on Sunday. Something with dirt but not tough enough that it shouldn't be tackled solo. 5 hours or so.

Any tips?

I looked at the "paarl rock adventure" on the old dualsport site, maybe part of that skipping paarl rock for some other dirt?
