Dakar owners please help me to either make the best or worst decision in my life.
I found a 2003 Dakar with 45000km on the clock to buy.
Question: Is this a good buy or should I look for something new-er?
I've always wanted a Dakar but I am not mechanically minded so I need to know if this bike will keep me happy on the road for the next few years. It will mainly be used for weekend day/overnight trips between 100 and 400km's (both on and off road). I don't want to go bigger than 650 as this is my prefered engine size. Reliability is of the utmost importance.
