How-zit everyone,
I am new to the Forum, obviously, and new to the sport. So new in fact, i don't even have a bike yet, that is why i joined, to get some info, ideas, guidance and whatever else i haven't thought of yet (which is a bunch).
I am looking at a touring bike. I am a farmer in the Western Cape, unmarried and want to take advantage time and freedom i have right now. So i would need a bike that is simple and reliable (i am not hopeless on the mechanical side, but have no experience of motorbikes), yet big enough to get me around without me having to do all the work. i am thinking long distance, extended minimalist traveling. i am not looking for a new bike, definitely used, anything from R45K to R55K.? or am i being a cheapskate?
any ideas and advice would be very much appreciated.
