was a great ride yes, thanks to all for the planning. :deal: Thanks Tina for allowing us dogs to the lodge  :3some:

will most definitely be at the next pink ride...

anyway as Martina said earlier, Jason (knucklhead jnr), myself, Dirk (scooterbike) and Johnno (turd) hit the gravel to angies G spot via Prince alfreds pass to have a few cold ones.

Thereafter we (the knucklheads) headed to Plett and then back to JBay whilst Turd and scooterbike headed on to knysna.

The road down to plett is really like riding on marbles  :eek7:.....here we made an unscheduled stop and Jason huge skiiiddddd. His tyre hugger on his Funduro was snatched by the knobs on the tyre and ripped off and became lodged between the swingarm and tyre causing the rear wheel to lock and thus the moerse skid   ???

somehow I think riding on the loose marbles saved him from purchasing a piece of the road  :lol8: but he handled it like a master...he said uncle Jules's lessons have paid off dad"  :deal:

anyway I fixed the problem and we continued down to plett. after plett we decided to take the natures valley road to skip the toll gates at 38 Rond each

yes the road down to natures valley and all the way up to the toll is open to all traffic...we continued through the blauukrans pass. This road is blocked off but we squeezed thru on the bikes and  rode all the way through to coldstream. was getting lates o we decided to slab it all the way back to jbay, clocking in after dark 19:45.

I forgot my camera but below some taken with my fone and jasons fone. ;)

Hey hey hey, Die drol is terug in sy eie drinkwatertenk.....

To all the supported and rode with. A huge thak you from Mrs Auntie Turd.

What an awesome ride and bunch of people.

I had tears in my eyes a number of times in my helmet and maybe even now!!!
SHIT even the Hardly ableson boys and girls I met at Steytlerville got me to cry.

When i arrived in Knysna after saying cheers to Scooter, fok daai ou kan ry, I headed down to Theson Island. Got to the security gate and the blerry basterd wouldnt let me in  :imaposer: :imaposer:. he had to phone the house we were staying at to confirm there was a biker at the gate!!

When Cheryl walked out she laughed and cried at the same time!

The ride home was along the R102. Awesome piece of slab though. About 20km outside Humansdorp, Philimon ran out of phutu so I dont know how many kilos I did but it must also have been around the 600km mark.

Once again I would like to thank all concerned and everybody that has supported us through this really hard time.

Little background for those that dont know the situation.
5 years ago Cheryl was diagnosed with cervical cancer. All the treatment went really well and we thought that tht was the end of it.

on my birthday 8/04/2013 she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast, lymph and lung cancer. After the first round of chemo, which was really rough on her, the doc says that there is nothing they can do. Cancer still in both lungs. lots and lots of small tumours and 2 that are 2cm x 2cm.

So now she has to be on Chemo for the rest of her life in the hopes that it will be controlled.

SO I urge all you guys to get your wives, girlfriends, skelems and better halves to go for a mammogram at least once a year. If cought in the early stages it is curable!!!!!

Shap shap and lets make this an annual event. The only thing is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Please lets do it in the WINTER!!!!!!

Our trip was just a little too early this year, but would really like to participate in the next organised ride.
