So I'm looking at the idea of touring Europe with the boney...still in dream-phase, so just looking at what the costs involved would look like. Wife will come along, so won't be riding up.
Basically two options:
1. Ship the bike to Europe, tour, ship it back/convince the wife she must fly home, I'll be home in about 3 months. ;D
2. Buy a bike in Europe, tour, sell the bike, fly back.
Can anyone give me an idea of what it will cost to ship my bike to Europe? Second-hand bikes seem cheap in the UK, so buying one over there and selling it after the trip would also be an option - is suppose this would involve quite a lot of red tape. At the end of the day, cost will be the main driver, so whatever the cheapest option will win.
If anyone has done something like this, I will really appreciate any input! :thumleft:
