This is an appeal to the TA owners. I would prefer to use soft panniers and thus get the COG of the bike lower but that very wide (500mm) carrier pushes the luggage too far out. This past weekend I used a dry-bag on the tail. It was OK but the weight is concentrated fairly high. Dustdevil's Giant loop might work because it sits on the pillion seat. Trailrider uses Kappa hard luggage. What say you guys? I can't sleep at night because I'm designing brackets and bags etc.
Hard luggage has its place but I have seen it destroy a ride because of a slight off.
