What an awesome ride! Thanks for sharing. Do you really think a TTr230/Crf230 can ride that route?

Believe me, the smaller the better. A whole lot of years ago, when the rumours started of beach riding being banned, we started looking for inland routes. I have never before or since carried and dragged a bike up and down so many hills.I was stuffed for days.

Hectic! Looks like great fun, if you are fit.  8)

Hey, It's all forgotten at the end  ;D

BTW, your skills are certainly not shabby - and this type of riding certainly helps a lot with the big bike confidence

Hi Plothond

Sorry I have missed you guys and the trip. Family commitments and a fu@$up bike. Glad you have enjoyed it.

Great report Plotties.  :thumleft:

Transkei is a MUST DO destination.

Hopefully one day I'll get to do it! Must 1'st get that plastic in tip top condition.

So did you loose the extra weight?  ???

You are supposed to ride it , not walk it !

j/k looks like a great ride I want to do someday.

Just thought I'd mention that I'm doing this ride on Sunday again. Can't wait. I must have done it 20 times already and it is always a helluva lekker ride.

Just to give you something to think about while you rest your back Plottie. Life can be a bitch, ain't it?
