I'm just fishing here...but has any of you fellow Honda owners had problems with the HISS system? (I ride a' 07 TA 650)
Today was the second occassion where this system has left me stranded. What happens is when I have stopped and get back on I turn the ignition but the HISS light on the console fails to come on as usual....then the engine turns but there is no fire. The previous time this happened was in the Wildcoast, but I managed to sort it out by fiddling with the computer box connections and cleaning everything. This time I gave up and had Outsurance come and pick me up, but when I got home the bike just fired up as usual ??? ??? ???
Please note that I am sure the killswitch was in the right position, kickstand up and everything as it should be for starting :biggrin:
Now, I need to know whether Honda should have a look at this and try fault finding (which will cost me) or should I rope in a reputable auto-electrian....
