I don't know if this should have been on another board, but please bear with me.
I've got a 2006 TTR250 that I decided to give to a friend of my son. He is a student at NWU and his house is about 200km from Potchefstroom. His mother is a widow and finances are rather tight.
I don't think the TTR is the best bike for the longer distances of coming home over weekends and holidays. Do you guys think I can try and swop the TTR for a more suitable bike, even if it is a more road orientated one?
The TTR has about 6 000km on the clock and is probably worth somewhere between R20k and R25k.
Your suggestions please.
