I think Yamaha deserves a pat on the back. Couple of years ago they introduced the new XT660R, maybe not cutting edge but a new design none the less. The other Japanese manufacturers offered nothing new just old models re cycled. Then the highly anticipated Tenere was announced ..
Yamaha also built a street legal WR 250 with Fi, alu frame and new styling which is even street legal in Kalifornia ..
Now there are rumours of a new Super Tenere twin on the cards. Hopefully this is a trend the other Japanese companies will follow as well ? It certainly seems Yamaha thinks the ds market is worth investing in.
