This bike was supposedly be the farm managers at one of our satellite pasture farms in Plett area.
On an inspection, the bike was standing rather forlornly and we were told; "its not running well"
On a subsequent visit, the same story, but on closer inspection we realised the bike wouldnt even kick thru.
Long story short, brought it back to our base here in Heidelberg WC!
Did a strip down and lo and behold, valve deeply embedded in the piston!
As its only got 8000km on the clock it seems worth repairing as the internals, other than the obvious damaged stuff looks really clean.
First initial quote for parts only (Valves-valve guides and stem ends-gasket set-piston) is rather steep at R4500
Any leads or suggestions?
