Weird one here....
Has anybody else found that the fairly hard tyre pressures cause a loss of grip once hot? I had a longish ride on Saturday back from Delmas on the back roads. Once back in JHB north the rear started feeling a bit slippery. TPMS had it at around 3.1bar which isn't abnormal for it once hot in my experience.
I even had a moment, where I tried to pop a wheelie and the rear just spun instead. Not lekker.
I did start the ride off at slightly lower cold pressures that recommended, 2.7/2.8 rear and I think 2.4 front. (I say 2.7/2.8 because it was 2.7 at start up but up to 2.8 within like 2 blocks of home)
2nd question. How much should you be dropping the pressures for offroad use? I know this is a "it depends" kind of question, but what's the sort of guideline?
