With the months rolling on fast November and this year's Roof is just around the corner. For those of us who will
spectate or maybe be part of a support crew this isn't much of a thought but for those who will participate it should
be a serious matter. Lately I find myself amongst just such individuals and training, or at least riding as much as possible,
is at the order of the day.

From now on monthly visits to the Mountain Kingdom is planned and what adventures may ensue. First the schedule
is relaxed but as the clock ticks by the pace gets a bit faster. I fear I will eventually be left in the dust but for now I
enjoy the action same as everyone else.  :ricky:

Last weekend of May we enjoyed two days of unforgettable riding around Molengoane. Riding passes like Bushman's,
Freefall, and Foxhole as well as some other popular Roof routes in the area.

Bushman's action.

Lekker!

Can you ever actually ride your bike or do you just drag it over the mountains?

edit: Just watched the vid.  You guys are mad, fit hooligans.  Awesome stuff!  Does no-one mind if you ride wherever you want?

Ha ha, yes we actually do ride the bikes over that terrein but some places are so tough that we have to drag, pull, push etc to get the bikes thru. That makes the ride interesting.
Lesotho is open and you can ride almost everywhere. There are certain places hovever that we must stay away from, ie ploughed fields, private areas around houses, etc, etc. It is also an unofficial rule that you must go slow in township areas ( even in Roof of Africa racing situations ) because it is easy to hit small children.

wat gebruik jy vir post edit?

Ek gebruik "Final Cut Pro X" van Apple. Dit is basies soos iMovie op steroids.
Baie gebruikersvriendelik en loop glad omdat dit 'n Mac rekenaar as platvorm gebruik.

My goeie ou vriend! Lekker om jou te sien post. Ruil daardie GS van jou in vir 'n 2T en kom kuier vir ons.
Ek sal jou eerste tenk petrol vol gooi en seker maak jou band druk is korrek.  :deal:

Sack sold his bike, but if he's posting this could mean he has probably got a bike or is about to get one.  Hooray - Go Sack!!!

daai boytjies kan maar....nog lekker as jou testestoroon vlakke jou intelligensie vlakke kan oorskry..

Crossed-up, so nice to have you post in one of my RR again. Where are the days we went riding in the
bush at zone 7 and just chatted the time away...

Lesotho is my all-time favorite place for many reasons obvious. There are some unspoken rules of where we
shouldn't ride like Losper mentioned already but for the rest the country is open. Only the sheer scale of the
landscape prevents one from riding everywhere.

A lot of the time it does feel like we are but dragging the bikes along. This we don't mind though as these are the
times we remember and cherish.

As for our good friend SACK, yes, I heard he sold his bike. Pity, we come a long way. Looking forward to see you riding again!  :thumleft:

hectic and awesome, the report gave me a stitch just viewing it  :thumleft: :thumleft:

What happened to " Stand up ... Look up ... Open Up"
