Unofficial bike hire?

Been lurking a while on WD, but Im an ADV regular. Im in Cape Town studying at UCT for the semester, and wondering what the possibility of unofficially hiring someones bike for a week or so around the beginning of July.

I've had a couple of KLRs and now have a Transalp in the USA and generally been around those kinds of bikes, including Africa Twins and an R1150GS in the family.

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in being paid in cash for letting me "hire" an extra bike they have laying around for something like the garden route and/or Lesotho.

Would there be any interest for something like this?
