use GPS and charge two BB phones simultaneously

Got a GPS today and saw at Cape Union Mart (after sales service very good by the way) a cigarette charger (TomTom - but will work with Garmin as well) that has two USB sockets. I looked, Blacberry phones charge when connected to laptop via USB cable...so, you would then be able to use your GPS and charge two BB phones simultaneously..lekka since me and the wife both have BB's. The charger thing cost R250.
