So just bought this helmet. As I use my bike to commute to work and back, as well as all business trips during the day, I have developed a need to be able to hear my GPS voice prompts as well as take phone calls. Seems everyone waits until I am riding to wanna phone me lol.
Saw the Vega V-Tune at Gear Up in Pinetown and at the price seems a bargain. Obviously not top of the range, but I do have a Vega off road helmet, which I use on my plastics and have been serving me well for the last 8 or so years.
The V-Tune has a built in blue tooth receiver with built in ear phones and mic. Can pair with other V-Tune helmets, cellphones, GPS or MP3 players (obviously if they are bluetooth enabled)
Will be testing it tonight on the way home ..... did a quick test in the shop and it paired perfectly, sound and mic was good, although this was obviously at zero wind noise.
