Hi all dawgs!
We are planning a ride next Wed 24 to Friday 26 Sept.
We will be leaving Vbg at about 7am, planning to do all or most of the way gravel.
Day 1: (+-400km)
Vbg -Senekal-Rosendal-Fouriesburg-Clarens-Goldgate-Sterkftn - Geluksburg (overnight there)
Day 2: (245km)
Geluksburg-Swinburne-De Beerspas-Collingspas-Normandienpas-Kingston(my uncle's farm, overnight there)
Day 3: (400km)
Kingston-Mullerspas-Memel-Warden-Reitz-Ventersburg.
Own tent, food & what else needed for the whole of the trip.
Anyone and all are welcome, you can join anytime or point in the route and exit whenever and wherever you please.
I have done the Geluksburg area about a year or so ago, road leke slippery when wet (hope not this time).
The 3 passes in Vrystaat/Natal is great, varying from very rocky and lekke groot klippe to good road. We did it on DS tyres but knobblies would be better, not a must.
Attached is a GPS map. Any suggestions and further input is very welcome!
