I am finilizing my second trip to Verneukpan. So far it will be 5 Varaderos and one GS1??0. We will take the road through Ceres, up the Gydo Pass, past Kagga Kamma, and then onto the Tankwa Karoo road. All the way to Brandvlei, and then left to Verneukpan. There we will camp on the pan together with the local farmer I have met on my previous trip. The toute back will be past Loeriesfontein, and then through Botterkloof and over the Pakhuis Pass. From ClainWilliam it will be high speed tar all the way home. Riders on suitable bikes are free to join. I am looking for information on where to overnight somewhere on the Ceres / Tankwas Karoo road. I have travelled this road before and I can't remember seeing anything. Nothing at all. Any information on accomadation, rooms or camping will be helpfull.
