I have a 2009 1200GS at 1600 odd km's
I arrived home from work and as I am heading up my street I hear this weird sound from engine and exhaust. When I stop at my gate I hear the engine unable to keep a steady idle, when pulling off up the driveway I can feel a most definite drop in power with a lot of spluttering and coughing and needing a lot of revs to get up the drive. I'm sure I smelt some burnt oil in the air as I got into the garage. I have never found any oil under my bike and it's been running very smoothly since I've had it. What on earth has happened to my bike?! How bad can this be?
