How often do you guys replace your visors? I'd been struggling to see nicely out of my current tinted visor, which I'd last replaced about 6500km ago, which was 90% dirt, eating others' dust. Cleaning didn't help and after a closer inspection, it turned out there were lotsa fine scratches (presumably from all the wiping on the dirt roads).
So I went and purchased a new visor (R600!) and the difference was enormous. Check the pics below to see what I mean. If sun was shining on the visor and I was looking into a shaded area, it was impossible to see what was going on.
Now I feel that 6000km isn't very good service life from a "premium" helmet's visor (Shoei Hornet). Admitedly, it's had a hard life in the dirt. Is this normal? How often do you replace your visor?
