Last night I had a very enlightening experience. I learnt many things about myself and life in general.

1. A I-should-not-buy-this-cheap-piece-of-shit-but-Ill-use-it-only-a-couple-of-times torque wrench is not terribly accurate and because of its long handle works much better at breaking steel bolts off in a bikes alu frame than a regular socket wrench.

2. It takes several minutes to locate the wrench from behind the dog house in the corner of the garden after the breaking of bolt heads.

3. The large selection of bolts, nuts, bushes and fittings supplied with your new set of handcrafted italian crashbars might look mighty impressive but might not necessarily be usefull in fitting of the said crashbars.

4. Running around in the front yard kicking invisible items and waving tools, silently cussing to yourself can be heard inside the house and will be aswered by words such as "WAT MAAK JY??" and later after frustration is clearly visible and it seems even audible by: "Wil jy iets drink my Engel?" and "Kan ek jou help?"

5. Contrary to what the Chinese might lead you to believe, after having some green tea I still do not poses the necessary skills to fit a set of crashbars.
