A while ago I enquired about the different small bikes available. Most suggested the 250s as they said that the have way more power than say a DR200 but that the DR200 is also a great bike.
So on Monday I decided to visit my local dealership and test ride a DR200 so that I atleast have some reference point to work from. I was underwelmed to say the least. :-\ I grabbed a handfull of throttle and nothing happened. Yes I do currently ride a 1000cc and did not expect the same power but I must admit I did expect a little more. On the other hand it rides super smooth and does weigh less than a skateboard.
Well now I am looking at something with more power. A DR-Z400 would be perfect I rekon. I love the Husaberg 550 that is advertised here but the 15hour service intervals will kill me if I use it for my daily transport.
I need something like a drz400 that is road registered and doesn't need an oil change more frequently than every 2500km. Even something like a XT350 or so is fine. As long as the bike is mechanically sound but needs some cosmetic attention I don't mind.
