I commute with my scoot, rain or shine. I am 100% happy with my Vuka rainsuit...BUT the bootie thingys are pretty stuffed. I have affected a few repairs with soft-plastic adhesive but there is a line to be drawn when one just cannot repair anymore. The thing is I wear work shoes which are physically very big so these pull-over-bootie thingy's are just abused. Pity because they're actually damm nice....were nice.

Is there something out there...not gaiters or similar, bit a really waterproof type of boot or "over-shoe" that I could keep in my topbox and wear when necessary. Many years ago, like in the '80's, I remember "Totes Boots"....like a glorified Wellington boot, designed to stretch over your shoes for just such a purpose.
