I will be hosting a tech day at WOA Tygervalley on Sat 4th May 2013.
This will be aimed specifically at removing your bike's wheels and reparing a flat wheel or replacing the tire yourself. This would also obviously apply more to the guys and gals who do not run tubeless systems.
The idea will be to do it as a hands-on excersize under supervision. So your hands will get dirty.
I will also touch on the subject of chain and sprockets. (yes yes - I know. I will keep my thumb out of the sprocket.) ;D ;D Let my shortened thumb be a horrible warning to the rest on how not to do it.
TO BRING :
I would suggest you bring your own tools and tire levers like you normally carry on the bike. It is no use practicing with one set of tools and having to use another in the field.
A towel/ground sheet/ something to work on when you have the wheel off and on the ground.
We will start at 10am.
