Recent developments have given me the opportunity to open my own business where I can deliver work of the highest quality and honest workmanship that I believe my clients are entitled to.
Having been in the motorcycle industry since 1990,
I worked as a mechanic and sales person at the following motorcycle stores:
1. Craigs in Maitland
2. Mike Hopkins Kawasaki
3. KTM Cape Town
Coming from a successful motorsport background with numerous race
wins and championships to my credit, I have also always been involved in the
road / adventure market with a wide scope of experience on different models,
including having built quite a few bikes for trips through Africa.
Of course being a performance junkie I have always been drawn to the
performance segment as well and in this respect .
I have a lot of experience on preparing certain models for racing and touring
- XR400/600/650
- XLV/XRV 650/750
- KLR/KDX
- DRZ400
- XT500/600/660
- KTM EXC all models
- KTM Adventures 950, 990, 640
I also have a fair amount of experience on BMW motorcycles.
Through my involvement with road racing at regional and national level I am also quite knowledgable on road bikes.
Through my work at the above companies I have built up a good reputation with numerous suppliers and
distributors and over time I will let forum members know of specials and
promotions I will be running in conjunction with these distributors.
I am available for the following work:
General servicing of all bikes.
Fault diagnosis and electrical fault finding and repairs.
Tuning bikes for optimal performance, including race preparation.
Suspension servicing and tuning to your riding style.
Restoration projects undertaken as time allows.
I will be available to collect breakdowns if required.
I am based in the Northern suburbs, close to Cape Gate shopping center
