I am looking at doing a west coast roadtrip with the family. As I have not been anywhere near the west coast north of Paternoster in 10 years i'd like to hop around the spots from kleinsee to elandsbaai and then swing inward to Citrusdal. On the bike i'd just wing it but as mein fuhrer will be co pilot there needs to be some semblance of planning and preparation.
My question is this - where can I find out about roads and access or is there an app or book or such a thing that can help me prevent our little caravan of one to be turned around at a National park gate or difficult 4X4 track. Ideally I'd like to hug the coast as much as possible but from what i can see on the interwebs this might be easier said than done.
