My wife and I will have a day or two, in October, to do some sight seeing on our way to Bonnievale for the Wine on the River festival. This will be a first time for us - I go to CT very often, but basically travel only between the airport, The Vineyard Office Estate and Melkbosstrand with no time for myself.
I'm thinking of traveling the below route and finding a lekker spot to overnight Thursday night, then an early sprint to the free wine.
Melkbos -> Philadelphia -> Malmesbury -> Riebeeck Kasteel -> Hermon -> Gouda -> Wolseley -> Romans Rivier -> Worcester -> Robertson -> Bonnievale.
Any suggestion regarding what to check out, where to have a lunch and dinner, where to stay over (if a dog has a spot then even beter), etc. While in Bonnievale we will be staying at the Bonnievale River Lodge.
Wat dink julle - is dit 'n lekker trippie wat die moeite werd is?
