I read a post on another forum recently whether scooter riders can be called "bikers" or not. It got me thinking.....
What are your ideas as to what makes someone a biker?
My view is that a biker would be someone who loves bikes and ride for the purpose of what riding a bike offers him/her in terms of enjoyment, be it speed, freedom, adventure or whatever. This would exclude someone who only uses a two-wheeler as mode of transport to and from work etc.
In brief, I see it being defined by the purpose for which the person rides, and not defined by the type of two-wheeler.
