The past few years have necessitated a change in my hobbies. Between having young kids, an eternally displeased wife, new business, mass emigration of riding buddies and general middle-aged-ness I have decided to sell my bike. Maybe I will pick it all up again in the future, but for now she it not being used, and it is time to find a new rider for her.
Specs:
2013 R1220GS Adventure (last of the air-cooled)
15,000km
Has BMW panniers and topbox
Has Akrapovič pipe, from the headers back (and she does sound AMAZING)
Garmin Zumo 500
Whilst she is in very good condition. she will undoubtedly require a new battery, which I will fit when I pull her out from under her covers. I attach some older photos, as I don't have any new ones at hand.
What would be a good selling price for this bike? I cannot seem to reason the pricing that some of the bikes in the for sale section are commanding (both up and down).
