I had a Honda CBX250 prior to the KLR. It had a little dipstick where you throw the oil in and there was a whole rig-marole one had to go through to check oil levels, ie.e run the motor for 3 mins, then unscrew the dipstick and stand the bile upright for 3 mins with the dipstick back in the holder without screwing it in. Tedious
The KLR I see does not have a dipstick, but there is a little round window thingy, that you can check the oil. What is the correct procedure to check? Also I noticed 2 brake fluid containers, one for front (use dot3 or 4) and one for rear (use dot 3), are there any other resevoirs I should be checking? I.E. Coolant?
