Reached Kaapsehoop at last. 48 km into reserve already and made may way slowly down the mountain to Nelspruit where my bike started to splutter 200m from the filling station.

​Cracking day here today, so me and Mrs 3D went over to the Black Isle (not black, not an island.  Scottish humour eh?) and jumped on the Cromarty-Nigg ferry to have a look at the 'Seaboard' villages.


Good few rigs in the firth.  Behind me is a lovely 18 century village full of arty types, cheese shops and chichi cafes.  Quite a contrast.
