Left the Africa Twin & KTM500 at home and took my new to me CRF250L commuter for a short 400km ride around the block on Monday that included Breetsnek and about 170km of dirt road. If taken without expectation, it’s an awesome little bike giving the little that it’s got with gusto and no hesitation whatsoever !

Pas was bietjie vinnig vandag en ons het nie gestop vir fotos nie....


Eerste stop vir warm klere uittrek (toe ons Hazyview aankom 1 uur was dit 32 grade...) en tweede stop vir ń stukkende KTM [emoji6]

Weet nie ......

Die wash away oor die pad met klipbank op verste ent. Hy het dit nie gesien in skaduwees van bome nie en is teen spoed daardeur

the 1190 is not made for the 140 size tyre (like on the 990) but ride with a 150. flatter and wider.
which is why I am asking for tyre size.

It happened to my 1190 as well (with 140 at the time) and you need to strip BIG time to replace that cover.
problem is the bumpstop on the shock, supposed to be fixed in 2014 IIRC.
