Another addition to my bucket list....

I'm adding that one to the bucket list too....just not on the GS.... :eek7:

After JonW took us up Rhino Peak on the Saturday we thought we would have a short and easy ride on Sunday before we head back down the pass. Boy were we wrong. We rode from Sani Top to Thabana Ntlenyana which turned out to be short in distance but not so much in time and pounding agony in the rocks and lurkers hidden in the grass.  BUT well worth the views and the sense of achievement. From up here we looked down on vultures and other birds of prey searching the slopes for lunch.

This Lesotho peak is 3482m above sea level and is the highest peak south of Kilimanjaro.

No we didn't.

Heavy rain was predicted from 10h00 onwards, so we left Sani Top early and went straight back after. Got down the pass just before the rain started.
