Hi Karen and Kingsley, I would have loved to have chatted to you guys at the bash but My leg was fractured 27 km before the bash on the Friday night by a wild buck while riding with 4 other Wilddog members to the bash. Will do an RR on the story soon. I came out of hospital on Saturday after 8 days and arrived back home Sunday (yesterday). Glad you all enjoyed the bash Schalk.

Hi Schalk, So sorry to hear about your accident....what bad luck! We were wondering where you were and were looking forward to catching up with you. I hope you mend quickly and feel better soon. Will look out for your RR.

Has now dawned on me. Have read your Port St. John's RR a few times as i want to do it in December if possible or asap thereafter time permitting.

I am not at my lap top so I dont have  any pics to add right know, however your rr is awsum . I am a man of few words however that  loop with yourselves, Thorsten and Shane will be one I will remember for many years to come.

My whole biking life I have wanted to tour the Transkei, and I could not have asked for better company to do it with.

Six days of biking and having a blast. I am glad we all got home safely with all the idiots on the roads. Seems there were more incidents/ accidents than what we saw. Hows the bloke who broke his forks off the front of his bike? Crazy stuff!!

Thank you once again for the invite to hook up, its was an absolute pleasure.

I will stay in touch and will look for a pic or two when I am on the lap top....

When I saw the NR number plates at the museum, I knew - that's them!!  "That husband and Wife riding the Transkei". Nice meeting you Wildside, although it was only a word or two.

Great to see a photo of someone using a zigzag. But just a tip ( i might be wrong) but make that length just one click shorter (and bring it in)  and turn it around. I guess it will have more stability.

The mother lynx had been killed by the locals and the two babies brought to Albie and Angela to look after. They are 9 months old and very tame....however, they don't come up to you looking for affection....unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to touch them as they were a bit elusive. They roam around freely day and night but still go into the house for  meals.
I must admit it was special being in their company.

It was an absolute pleasure  having you guys along for the ride...thanks for joining us. Nothing like a couple of days on bikes with good people and lots of banter....most entertaining company. We should try and do it more often.
