The weekend's ride to the sea helped me to finally decide: I don't like the wind on my 1190 (not R).
My bike got the higher KTM touring screen fitted when it was new. It's now done 11 000km. I adjust the screen up and down, front and back in the high position, I put the seat high or low, but the wind keeps bugging me.
I had (the previous) 1200 Adventure before, and I don't remember the wind ever hassling me.
I know that the wind against your head and body is part of the experience, but I've got a bakkie. I can sit on the back and let my wife drive me around should I wish to be blown around.
Is there a (much) better screen available?
I've started looking at adverts for 1200 Adventures, but dynamically, I really enjoy the KTM.
Any advice please.
