**THANKS FOR THE REPLIES ALL - SORRY FOR THE MESS AROUND, AFTER MUCH DISCUSSION THIS WEEKEND AND WEIGHING OF OPTIONS, THE MISSUS AND I DECIDED TO KEEP HER SCOOTER. MY DS BIKE WILL HAVE TO WAIT A BIT LONGER. SO THIS OFFER IS WITHDRAWN.
OK so testing the water here. After the KZN Bash, my ass is really itching to get a DS bike again. Plan was to wait and possibly get a XR 650 L end of the year or so for DS riding, but the itch is getting to strong.
Trading my Busa is not an option, neither is buying another bike, under my current financial situation.
** One small, tiny issue, I still have to fully convince the wife that is is better to swop her scooter for a DS bike for "us"

The Kymco is in very good mechanical condition, just did the round trip to the Bash with no hassles. I use it mostly for running to the shops and occasional commute to work. Wife only rode it twice, once around the block and once to the beach, where she toppled over at standstill. A few minor scratches - nothing serious and a slightly bent L/H brake lever.
The fan runs permanently, bought it like that, not an issue as temp stays well within limits, just check to not leave it switched on to long without running motor as it will drain the battery.
New rear tire fitted around 1000 km's ago, front still good. A very minute oil leak - as in one small drop, every once in a blue moon, sump plug is the culprit and actually have it on the list to replace for next service, which is only in about 4000 km's time.
Scooter is a 2008 model, licence up to date, have logbook in wifees name. It has around 18000 km's on the clock
Looking for something in the 650 cc range of same value. (Approx value between R25-30k)
KLR 650, KLE 500, DR 650, XT 600 electric start, XR 650 R, Funduro, Transalp or similiar.
DS should good running condition, fair cosmetics and licensed obviously.
So if anyone has a "spare" DS bike sitting in the garage and they are looking for something else, let me know and lets chat.
