Seeing as there is no interest in my XL, I decided it was time to tackle the wheels and replace the old spokes with the new ones I got.
The front wheel has 4 different spokes. 2 x different lengths with 2x different bends per length. The back has 2 x different spokes only by the bend. What I usually do is to mark the new spokes with a sticker that is associated with a marked old spoke on the wheel and the I make a proper photo index of the wheel. This is to help with the pattern when I start to put the new spokes on the hub and rim. I'll send the parts after the strip down in for soda-blasting during the week and update as I go along with the rebuild.
