I have a 1982 XR500R which obviously needs to run on LRP Petrol. This is becoming more scarce as fewer filling stations are still stocking this. Would it be advisable to get the head and valves done so the bike can run on unleaded, or rather just use the additive that is available to add to unleaded to render it suitable for use in these old motors?
