Hi all,
In an effort to improve the XR's feeble headlight, I have bought a new LED unit.
My priority when buying one, was to get a light that was DOT approved. This light had a good cut off line on the low beam.
The light is rated at 24W low beam, and 45W hi beam, with a very effective 3W driving light.
The light is significantly better than the standard light, but not as bright as the spotlights. But the big advantage is you can use it on low beam in traffic with out offending any other road users.
Anyway long story short, I bought 2 of them and am happy to sell my second one for R1400 if anyone is interested.
Please contact John
