So My riding buddy's 2004 XR650R is developing play on the front sprocket. Its due to a worn countershaft.
Honda Cape Town says the part has been discontinued.
Has anyone manufactured their own? Is there someone in the Cape that has the expertise, top quality material to make this part? He is a sticler for detail and quality so it will have to be as good as OEM or better.
(My mate doesn't have internet, so I'm asking on his behalf)
Also if he manages to manufacture the part locally, is anyone interested to have one on the shelf for future rebuilds?
