So the petrol attendant managed to get the 15cm extention pipe from the oil bottle to drop into the oil tank reservoir (frame), and it is now contained somewhere where it is not visible. Those familiar with the bike will know that you have access from two places - the filler cap at the top, and the filter hole at the bottom of the frame, and needless to say - those holes are not very big to get a view of the inside of the oil reservoir. At least it cannot get into the motor as it will be blocked by the engine mount crossmembers on the frame, or alternatively the metal filter on the bottom plug that feeds oil to the motor.

Question time:

1 - Tried a lot of things with wire, turned the bike upside down and tried to flush it out with oil to see if it can be dislodged. Tried compressed air to blow it into a visible spot - all to no avail - any other ideas of getting it out??
2 - Is there anybody in the Pretoria/JHB area that has a probe with a camera that I can borrow to be able to find it - once you can see it I am sure one can McGyver something to extract it??
3 - To the chemically minded - what will happen to that piece of plastic in the long run if it submerged in operating temperature oil - surely if it starts dissolving it will block the oil flow with disastrous effect??
4 - And lastly - failing extraction - anybody know of some magic chemical/acid that will possibly dissolve it in a controlled fashion so the oil tank can be flushed properly before refilling with oil again?

Waiting in anticipation for constructive feedback!!!
