Today I bought myself quite a bit of work :biggrin:
I am the proud owner of a 1983 Yamaha SR500, the bike came with a few carton boxes as freebies to hold the spares.
Yes the bike is all in pieces and stripped, as for the motor it was rebuild by Bobby Scott from Scott Motorcycles in Montana a while ago so there I think I should be ok and the bonus part is the bike is registered and on the road, licensed en elke ding.
The previous owner bought the bike and borrowed it to a friend who had a mishap en put it down the hard way, breaking the speedo and light. Apart from that the bike looks on a good condition.
So here is the plan.....Build a Desert racer/flat track scrambler thingy magigy
Any suggestions...?
Anyone have parts laying around.. I know I am missing the kick starter
I want to put a single small digital speedo in with warning lights built in where do I start looking?
