Took my son to look at a bike today, really decent condition and only needs small minor parts.
Bit of concern though.
The bike's not in the chap's name. He bought it from a bloke who died two weeks after he got the bike and without the papers never registered the bike.
He seems quite decent - however I've been bitten many times before....
There is a number plate and a license disc (expired in 2004) on the bike.
Does anyone have any contacts that could check the Reg number and disc details before I hand over my hard-earned cash?
The bike needs mirrors, indicators and an ignition switch + keys before it will be able to be roadworthied...
any help/advice appreciated ???
