Good day
I have about 70 days of warranty left and would like to hear from you guys if I can claim for some of the niggles on my 2014 1190 adv.
None of them are serious but I like all my belongings to be as well looked after as possible and that counts for my steed as well.
Although I use my 1190 like it should off the beaten track I never abuse it and won't claim for something that I know was my own fault.
Pic 1: The first thing I noticed when I had a new rear fitted was areas on the axle more worn than others. You can feel small "steps" on the axle where the bearings and spacer are located. Maybe I am paranoid, but I think it might cause stress on the wheel bearings resulting in failure premature?
Pic 2: A small hairline crack on the "dash". Like I said no big deal but I think in the long run dust and water will enter?
3: No pic but my rear disk has a cow bell ring when cold and braking; no noise when warmed up and the disk expand. Again no big deal but if it can be fixed why not?
Would like to hear what you think; can I claim for some or should I live with it?
Thanks! :thumleft:
