The debate on which is the best will elicit many responses. It is a personal thingie. My feeling is that here is a motorbike GPS packaged for bikers with all the goodies one requires to get up and running.
The zumo remains excellent value for money when you consider what you get for the price.

The 550 and 500 have bluetooth
The 550 has all the goodies to mount in your car as well
With any other GPS one has to buy the motorcycle mounting kits as an extra. This does cost.
The 550 has a bigger internal flash memory. The 500 and 400 have more than enough anyway. Memory can be enlarged with SD cards in all three units.
All units have voice prompts. The 550 will say "turn left into Jeppe street" The 500 and 400 will say " turn left now"
All units record the tracks you ride.
They are touch screen.
They all have built in MP3 players.
