I changed my failed Zumo 550 for a 660. I find the scrolling of maps SLOW (compared to my 550). It also takes ages to find the satellites.
I have Streetmaps 2010.3 NT. This map series has much more detail than the previous maps. Particularly it shows the outlines of all the buildings (at scale 500 or closer).
In Settings>Map>Map Detail there are 3 options High Normal & Low.
Even when I set it to Low the map scrolling is still slow and the buildings are shown.
Do all 660s still show the buildings when set to Low detail using Streetmaps that have the buildings outlines?
I am wondering if their is a fault with mine. I have run it alongside another 660 without the buildings on the maps & it is WAY slower at scrolling the map (& the colours are much darker on mine).
