I am using a zumo 500 and has small earphones connected to it because I like listening to music. My sellphone is bluetooth linked and I have connected the normal small mic ( which is sold by garmin) to the zumo. It looks like the same mic that is used inside a car.
The problem: the mic pics up so much background noise ( inside the helmet ) that it is unsusable.
I have put a sponse over the mic but it does not help.
My question: Does anybody know if there is a single plug-in mic available with built in "noise canceling"?
I know that my problem will be solved if I install a pursose built intercom system like Autocom but I would like to keep the system as simlpe as possible.
Any help would be appreciated.
